Highland Cemetery - Highland, MI

According to Durant's History of Oakland Country, 1877, the ground for the cemetery was purchased 1849.

Members Present (at this investigation): Lisa M. and Jenny M.

It started at 8:00pm by pulling up and stopping adjacent to the front fence. Jenny, drivers side, started the recorder, while Lisa, passanger side, rolled down the window and started snapping pictures. Debating on entering, Jenny drove up to and entered the left enterance with the backend of the car just inside of the gates. Immediately pressing on the brakes, Jenny stopped and gripped the steering wheel tightly, looking around, speechless. Then backing out and stopping in the parking lot just next to the cemetery, Lisa was encouraged to feel Jenny's face, which was on fire.
Something just came over me (Jenny), from my head on down. Like a hot blanket covering my entire body. Tingling sensations and difficulty breathing, along with the heat, was too overwhelming. She just could not go inside any farther.

Deciding to stay put we continued our investigation along side of the South fence, from within the parking lot (never leaving the car). As Lisa continued taking pictures, we noticed certain reflections we weren't sure of. After pulling up to get pics from different areas of the cemetery on camera and backing up again to do the same, we noticed a younger boy walking just a couple of feet along side the left of the car (walking from the back of the car to the front). It scared the daylights out of us. Then he walked straight into a small wooded area in front of us, along side of the cemetery (which was odd because there wasn't any where for him to go to for at least a 1/2 mile in that direction.

Jenny said to take a picture of him, which Lisa did with her arm up and outside of the passanger window. He appeared to be 12-15 years of age, wearing camoflauge pants, and a hooded sweat shirt (possibly gray) with a baseball cap. He was walking at normal pace with his hands in his pockets, and I remember his face turning towards me (Jenny) when I shouted out "Jesus kid" as he walked by me. He never missed a beat and continued walking at the same pace until disappearing (walking until we couldn't see him any more) through the trees in front of us.

When we reviewed the pictures just taken of him, we noticed something and agreed it was the strap from the camera. After taking a few more pics, I (Jenny) thought I saw something crazy in the last picture taken, and that was enough for me. Without even telling Lisa we were leaving, I put the car in drive and took off without looking back.

No personal experiences were encountered regarding paranorma phenomena durring this investigation.  However, captured on audio was a possible EVP, and one photograph is in question.

The cropped areas of this photo now located in the bottom corners, originate from the center of the photo behind the fence pole. This photo obviously contains some motion blur (you can tell there was movement while the photo was taken by the light streeks in the upper right hand corner in the background). However, taking into consideration the front of the photo being focused, we came across an interesting figure. Whether this figure was created by different elements due to movement or if it is captured paranormal phenomena is yet unknown (we are not by any means claiming this photo to be positive evidence of the paranormal).
We are very interested in hearing your opinion on how this may have occurred.
