When we first started our investigations in October of 2005, we had no idea what the future had in store for us! It only took one investigation, our first, to capture enough paranormal phenomena, for it to become an addiction. Even still today, the adrenaline and excitement we get from each new hunt, is as intense as it was in the first. Being that we are a newly formed group, it is a blessing that we have gotten so far. Starting with only two members (ourselves) and only two pieces of equipment, we today have ten members (with more people interested in joining daily) and a full line of equipment to efficiently conduct a paranormal investigation. We have also received a tremendous amount of knowledge that has come from researching the evidence of our investigations.
With everything we've read, heard about, researched or captured ourselves, it's a shame for anyone not to believe. There are so many occurrences and situations through out history and today, providing evidence that should change any forms of disbelief. We give everyone the right to have their own belief system, all we are asking is for a slightly open mind. Everything we capture during investigations, we try to disprove before anything else. How do you explain a voice on a recorder from someone who isn't even there? Receiving captures on film during temperature drops and unexplained EMF readings? What about a form of a little girl, floating near a tree, that you can see fading away in photos that were taken repeatedly? We know what is out there! We will eventually get enough hard evidence to prove that everyone has a spirit that lives on after living in the physical body. Please just give an honest attempt before you make any conclusions regarding what you believe. I am one of the co-founders of the Highland Ghost Hunters, along with my friend Jenny. I am 28 years old and I have one son, Nathan who is 8 years old and a fiancée, Jason. I work as a receptionist in a pediatric Doctors office in Milford. For as long as I can remember, I have been interested in the paranormal. I don't know exactly how it started, I just it has always been a part of me.

I am 31 years of age and have been one of the co-founders of the Highland Ghost Hunters since forming the group in October 2005. I have a very supportive husband, Shaun (Journeyman Electrician), and two beautiful girls, Rylee age five and Kaylee age three. Luckily I am able to be a fulltime mother/homemaker which allows me to be with my family as a first priority. But don't be fooled, this in it's own is a job and a half.

I am 39 years old and I live in Holly, Michigan. I have a wonderful 16 year old son who lives with me. I am a truck driver by trade.
My fascination lies with EVP's. Since I have joined the group, I have had a few interesting experiences, and I am sure there will be many more to come. I hope to meet and interact with others who share in my interest and wonder of the paranormal. Keith@highlandghosthunters.net
I am 34 years old and I suppose my life-long obsession to learn more about the after-life is the main reason I investigate the paranormal. I haven't had any incredibly amazing experiences to report just yet, as most ghosts seem to be quite shy. I am hoping that this will change eventually. My main goal is to be scared out of my wits as when I was a child, so that perhaps I will feel more alive than I normally do. Curt@highlandghosthunters.net
I am 19 years old. I'm interested in Martial Arts, horror movies and the paranormal. I have been interested in the paranormal since I was 4 years old, when I saw a documentary on ghost hunting. Since then I have been hooked. Chris@highlandghosthunters.net
I am 25 years old and I live in White Lake. I am a cool, very open minded person. I believe everything and anything is possible if you believe in it and put your mind to it. Kenny@highlandghosthunters.net John Ciot I’m an adrenaline junkie. I skydive and ride motorcycles. I guess the adrenaline rush is part of the reason I got into paranormal investigations. There is nothing like the rush I feel when I think I just saw something. I’m still waiting for that defining experience though. Hopefully it will happen soon." Maria D.
